What Does the “P” Stand For?
Before I begin, I must tell you that this has been a hard newsletter to put together. The reason is simple. “P” is for “protect”. You see, I want to protect you, the readers, as well. But, in order for you to understand how important it is for us to stand up and protect women and unborn babies, you need to understand what the threat actually is. And that it is real. And so, I have been put in an uncomfortable situation. I must expose you to some cold, hard truths.
In the last 42 years, over 57 million babies have been legally killed in the USA. That equals to 1.2 million babies each year, and well over 3,000 babies each and every day. That is over 125 babies each hour. And yes, more than 2 babies are horrendously killed every minute. In the year 2013, almost 20,000 babies were aborted in North Carolina alone.
While these statistics are staggering, they are, after all, just numbers. It is easy for us to forget, or never completely acknowledge, that an innocent life is ruthlessly taken. Nor do we realize the ripple effects that one abortion has on our society.

Although I realize that some of this may be hard to read, I hope that you will not shy away from the truths about abortion. If we are to stand up and speak for those who cannot speak for themselves, it is important that we fully comprehend the reality of the threat we are facing.
